Indiegogo Week Two Update
Well, it’s been a busy week. We have not had any donations this week. Some may think it’s sad and understandable for the current state of events, but I understand.
We have had some positives though. We have grown out online community. Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook have gotten a lot of organic traffic. This has led to numerous people reaching out asking how to get involved. The best way to get involved right now is spreading the word that we are opening this year. Get others excited about the wonderful medium that is film photography. The next best way is to start shooting more film. That way, when we are offically open, you will be able to start sending it in for processing. Lastly, a small contribution to our Indiegogo goes a very long way. that $5-$10 donation will help us get backstock chemistry, archival sleeving, and storage media for your photos.
There’s been a lot of things I’ve been working on this week:
Networking with labs and film distribution reps. I’ve had so many great conversations over the last week that have been encouraging and also informative.
Building our customer base through social media and conversations in the community. You all are the driving force behind this lab. Don’t you forget it!
Shipping delays. I know I promised some unboxing videos, but shipping delays have been a small issue. UPS and FedEx coming out of the Northeast especially.
E-Commerce web building. I’ve been learning the ins and outs of our website and the best practices of how to run things.
While everything seems to be on fire lately, the only fire I’ve got is to help bring you the best processing lab you will ever work with.
Now, for this week, make noise about us, shoot film, and try to enjoy the break from the heat we’re getting this week in New Orleans.
